Moonshot was looking to take a bite out of climate change with an ambitious line of snacks. They needed help with operations, product development, and sales.
Rodeo got to work quickly and executed the following activities:
Built gantt chart and brand launch timeline
Conducted a national contract manufacturer search, and performed COGS analysis and contract review with final candidates
Conducted a 3PL warehouse search, total delivered costs analysis, and contract review
Commercialized the supply chain by identifying scalable packaging and ingredient partners that also met regenerative ag. and key sustainability metrics
Implemented an inventory management system (DEAR Systems), integrating with Shopify and 3PL warehouse partners to create seamless order and information flow
Created annual and production run based materials requirements plans to assist with purchasing, production, and procurement
Reformulated products to correct for processing challenges
Created a comprehensive bottoms up sales plan and 3-yr sales forecast
Developed brand sales collateral to set up retail launch, including sales sheet, pricing and spec sheets and a Sales Deck
Performed sales outreach in the natural channel
